We use ultrasonography to help diagnose and grade heart conditions, giving accurate soft tissue detail of the abdomen and internal organs. It is also use for cystocentisis where we take a sample of the urine directly from the bladder. This technique is also used for determining pregnancy in female dogs and cats. The knowledge our veterinarians have along with our modern ultrasound machine makes this an extremely effective diagnostic tool.
We are fortunate that we have the skills and technology to do all diagnostics on site at Hamilton Veterinary clinic. This means for your pet a stress free diagnosis without the pressures of needing to drive large distances to Sydney or specialist facilities to have these diagnostic skills performed. It also means you get to have the continuity of having one veterinarian treat your pet.
